What we do

We are a student organization and Tulane’s Premiere A Cappella group! This means that all of our members are Tulane undergraduates, and that we perform at many Tulane sponsored events like the Lighting of McAlister, Honors Weekend, Admissions Events, Tulane Dance Marathon, and at Tulane’s Homecoming A Cappella Concert. We meet for rehearsal twice a week on campus, and usually have quite a few gigs and performances outside of the Tulane bubble each month! Some of our recent favorites have been going on tour, performing at weddings, and singing at the Roosevelt Hotel!

Who does it

All Tulane student organizations have an executive board that runs the club – here is ours! Kayla DeAngelis(2025) is our President, Matthew Blonder(2027) and Hadley Magaziner (2026) are our Music Directors, Ethan Hunt (2025) is our Public Relations Chairs, Bella Castro (2026) and Sophia Terebilo (2027) are our Treasurers, and Hadley Magaziner(2026) and Sophia Terebilo (2027) are our Social Chairs. Even though only a few members of the group are on exec, everyone makes a difference in how amazing Green Envy is each year! There are many leadership opportunities within Green Envy, and we encourage all members to take initiative.

Green envy outside of rehearsal

One of the best parts of Grenvy is our retreat, and this is us at our annual first stop, the Canes across Ponchatrain.

A post rehearsal photo-op on the night Bella joined the group!

The graduating seniors enjoying their senior gift - homemade custom Green Envy Muses shoes!

Ethan and Kayla in the Quarter! Even wearing Grenvy colors!

Grenvies are classy. And hang out outside of rehearsal. And are each other's dates to backyard dinner parties.
